On June 21, a freight train fully loaded with green raw materials departed with a whistle from Baisha Railway Station at Chongqing Railway Logistics Center, heading to a paper mill in the Yangtze River Delta. The successful launch of this Chongqing-Shanghai point-to-point direct bamboo pulp freight train marks a deep integration between railway logistics and local green industries, supporting the achievement of the "dual carbon" goals.

It is reported that 8,000 tons of bamboo pulp will be transported on this train to Shanghai later this month. Once regular operations of the train are established, it is expected to carry 20,000 tons per month, providing a stable, safe and efficient transportation channel for the Yangtze River Delta paper industry. This also offers a "green model" to help reduce logistics costs across society and facilitate smooth domestic and international dual circulation.
